A curb chain is the classic flat-link chain: uniform oval links twisted so they lie flat. It is the most versatile chain style — narrow enough at 2–3 mm to carry a pendant, substantial enough at 7 mm+ to wear on its own.
Curb versus Cuban. They are close relatives. A Cuban link is a curb link made thicker and more compressed, so at the same width a Cuban chain weighs more and looks heavier. If you want presence without bulk, curb is usually the better call.
What to compare. Millimetre width sets the look; gram weight sets the price. A solid curb chain should cost close to its gold content plus a fair making charge — we publish the weight on every product page so you can check that yourself against the day's gold price.
Every curb chain here is solid 10K gold end to end, with a matched clasp. Shipped from Canada.
